Hi, does anyone know where you can get a private MRE Liver in the UK, thanks

I assume you mean MRI? You contact any of the private health providers, such as BUPA, Nuffield, etc. and ask them for more information on having a private MRI carried out.

Some may require you to have a doctor referral, but they will be able to inform you of their requirements.

I assumed MRE - "MRE (magnetic resonance elastography):

A computer measures the speed at which tissues in the liver vibrate – the quicker the vibrations, the more fibrosis is present."

Ok, that sounds similar to a fibroscan which uses ultrasound to measure the elasticity of the liver and give an indication of stiffness and possibly correlate with cirrhosis, etc. Never heard of MRE before - every day is a school day!!

Again, check with the likes of BUPA, Nuffield Health, etc. to see if they offer the service, what the costs and if you need a referral, etc.
