Repeat Ultrasound

Recently diagnosed with NAFLD. Are we entitled to have a repeat ultrasound done on NHS say 12 months down the line to see if any improvement has been made after 10% weight loss, diet and lifestyle changes?

There are set guidelines for Doctors in assessing, managing and monitoring NAFLD - you can find them at :- nice.org.uk/guidance/ng49

Who diagnoses your NAFLD? Are you under a specialist? Whether you are 'entitled' to a follow up scan only they could answer that.
