I caught a little cold off my grandson about 3 weeks ago just blocked up nose and runny but l still got it 3 weeks later its got better a little bit but when i lie down in bed my nose is completely blocked still, is because l am post transplant and on Immunosuppressant drugs it is stopping my immune system from getting rid of the cold. l just wondered if any one else post transplant has had the same. thanks Lon

I'm not post transplant but I am on immunosuppression meds, 18yrs. Every cold lasts for what seems like forever. I virtually get rid of one and then have another. I dose up with vit c and zinc and it helps. I'm afraid I avoid my friends children when they have anything more than a cold. Everyone in the family and friends knows to warn me if they have anything and that gives me the option to go or not as some days I know I'm not great and therefore more likely to catch whatever it is. 👍😊
