had my 1 year follow up recently,

it seems like good news, my fibroscan was 5.1kpa down from 9.1kpa bloods apparently are not as elevated either, still above the normal.... just not as high so they are moving in the right direction. whoop whoop!!!

My weight unfortunately has not improved which they are concerned about but its a slow process. ill get there eventually.

Indeed it is always good to hear positive news after transplant, we are still waiting for news on a possible transplant for my husband so well done and yes you are right for sure the weight will even out I am sure it's a very big thing to go through and so much for the body to deal with so wishing you all the very best for now and the future

👍🤗

sorry if I've confused it but I have not had a transplant. I have MASH with F2 formally known as NASH with F2. but am sure same changes would be made for anyone dealing with any stage of liver disease just different severity of needs?

I don't drink alcohol or energy drinks anymore, I cut down on my portions when eating, its not easy as I like my food lol I noticed the pain in my side subside after a month of doing these things it comes and goes still but at least its not a constant 👍

I had extremely bad habits when it came to food.... basically anything they say you should stay away from i ate, oh and i don't eat take away food now either.

Thank you! Sounds familiar to me! My eating habits were well beyond terrible. I ate huge amout of sugar including cakes, icecreams etc… I definitelly was a sugar addict🙄 I hope I’m on the right track now for almost 4 years since 2020 though my liver enzymes don’t seem to go down at all

I do pretty much what you do, no alcohol, no drugs, no sugar, moderate fat, no junk food. The problem is I don’t want to lose weight, on the contrary I need to put on some more pounds (2-3) which is very hard when being on liver diet. Anyway thank you and good luck🍀🌹🌼

its very frustrating but your doing the right things! 😊 My weight isn't going down but i think its an age thing i am in my 30's and i have heard from a lot people that after 30 your metabolism can go through changes and slow down so it would mean having to work extra extra hard which i just don't have to mental capacity to do that at the moment.....

putting weight on would that be making sure your getting extra protein i.e. meats in your diet??? i just need to look at cheese and i gain weight 🤣 I hope you can manage your goals, good luck to you 👍
