Dear Lizaspo,

We suggest talking this through with your own doctor or health care professional in the first instance.

Best wishes

Hi,

Besides seeing your physician!

I was in the same boat . Up and down, mostly down Low energy was one of my symptoms I started forcing my self to do little tasks even when I didn’t feel like it Things like clean the counter off, walk to the mail box, get up and move to a different chair etc etc Slowly increased activity. Forced my self to go to the gym several times a week. First two weeks , I didn’t even work out, going was the work out steadily increasing activity. I looked like death. LOL. Long story short. Walked 4 miles yesterday. Blood work looks good still have some ascites but manageable. Don’t give up. Don’t push the limits to much at first. You can do exercises while sitting or even lying down. You will notice the achievements and feel better little by little. God bless.

the fatigue is my worst sympon, my brain really wants to do it but my body says not a chance. It’s so frustrating si I do feel for you. I said to my consultant “if only I could just get rid of the fitigue I’ll be fine” he’s reply was you never will you will alway have it, where my heart sank “ I said to him I don’t want to exist but I do want to live. And he said it’s all about managing in a realist expectations. I don’t have cancer but he gave me a McMillan patient guide on little hints and tip cancer patients do to combat fatigue. It’s worth a look I’m sure if you go on the website they have the same tips. And it will get better,, there is hope when you think there isn’t x
