Covid Autumn Boosters

Hi, I’ve been trying to find out when I can book my next Covid jab. Found out today that local ICBs (Integrated Care Boards) are organising them locally. You can book from 18th September on the NHS Covid Vaccines website or through the NHS Ap. They are also going to contact people to invite them. The eligible groups have increased. My kids with T1 diabetes are now eligible 🙏 and so is my husband because he lives in a household with an immunosuppressed person (me). So for those of you keen to keep boosted, you should be able to book an appointment from Monday. Birmingham has organised drop in centres so look out for those too.

I’m glad you’re booked in. I’ve got my flu jab at Tesco on Friday and will be on the NHS Ap first thing Monday. I had problems getting the Spring booster and never did get an invite so thought I’d better be on it this time round.

Thanks for sharing. I had mine a few years ago - I think it’s a one off for shingles. Worth having.

My GP invited me for the flu vaccine in August and I’m booked for 20/09. Got a text last week inviting me to book the covid booster from 18/09. I’m just relieved that my GP is on the ball! My mum’s GP is awful and didn’t know anything about vaccines for either last week when she asked. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m glad you’re all sorted. I booked mine this morning so it’s Covid Thursday and Flu Friday. I’m glad my husband can get the Covid jab this time as I’m immunosuppressed.
