Wondering if anyone else is feeling like us with Covid going wild out there? Although my husband and I have been boostered, we have 3 children who haven't been eligible for full protection. Nearly all our friends and relatives have Covid tearing through their households and its absolutely everywhere at my sons school. We just can't face the idea of bringing it into our house, despite being vaccinated, so we are shielding as much as reasonably possible for a while. There is absolutely no support out there for this. Even though school have agreed verbally to me keeping my son off , it has had to be marked as unauthorised because Drs refused to do a letter. Feeling very frustrated and isolated yet again. Is anyone else being made to feel silly and paranoid?

He says because the government guidance isn't to shield and no guidance covers household members either. Although he agreed it was the most common sense thing to do 🤷♀️
I suppose they are bound by red tape. I sincerely hope you don't get it.
Hi Ewife,
We recognise this is an unprecedented moment in time we are living through and the impact on liver patients and their families is significant.
We are in constant communication with the department of health and government agencies, and if we hear of any updates we will post them on our website.
I’m definitely shielding. I have multiple underlying conditions and I just got my booster today and I’m hoping not to somehow get Covid for the next 2 weeks. My brother and sister-in-law are both double vaccinated and have Covid now and it’s odd because they don’t have a clue how they got it. My brother got it first and he is pre diabetic m has high bp etc and my sister-in-law has no underlying conditions and she is waaay sicker with it than he is. It’s scary and unpredictable 😢.
