The BBC has announced this morning that the NHS will be writing to all patients in the highest risk groups this week to ask them to self-isolate for 12 weeks. These patients include those with cancer, cystic fibrosis and severely compromised immune systems. I can assume from this that all others suffering from high-risk conditions are still being asked to practice social distancing for the time being.

Hi
Yes, I should think so. Take care. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx
Yes thanks. We saw that too x
That’s the impression I get. I assume too that people like me with Cirrhosis are for now practicing safe distancing when we can.... Obviously I will have to continue to work as I am well ... I’ve have read the NHS England guidelines inside and out and that’s how I read it too x stay safe everyone x
Had my LT 4 yrs ago but had serious side-effects from Azathioprine so advised to stop taking it but still taking Prograf/Tacrolimus. Due to see my consultant at QEHB clinic on the 1st April, meaning I have to travel 70 miles to Birmingham for blood test results taken in Feb. I'm considering the risk as I am in self isolation because I'm 70 in June and have underlying health problems including high blood pressure and a diabetic (type 2).
Hi Dallo.
I would imagine that your clinic will be in touch with you.
As you have already had your blood tests then they will be able to discuss these with you over the phone and adjust any meds if necessary.
Regards.
