How long have you been taking water tablets? Where is the fluid most visible in it's build up?

Since 13 Jan23 was in hospital foor 12days passed out on the 15th can't remember anything what happened to me woke up with loads of tubes ,drips I had respiratory failure in the end the told me the build up visible around my stomach and my chest feels some sitting on it

When you say you have fluid all over your body, are you referring to swelling?

Do you have regular creatinine tests, this test shows how your kidneys are functioning, taking water tablets requires healthy kidneys to get rid of the fluid?

Quote from Mayoclinic

"A creatinine test is a measure of how well your kidneys are performing their job of filtering waste from your blood.

Creatinine is a chemical compound left over from energy-producing processes in your muscles. Healthy kidneys filter creatinine out of the blood. Creatinine exits your body as a waste product in urine.

A measurement of creatinine in your blood or urine provides clues to help your doctor determine how well the kidneys are working."
