After Tace and the hospital saying they could offer my family member no further treatment we have literally been left alone with no medical help whatsoever for over 2 years only pain killers.
Is this normal?
Is there anything at all we could try any trials any new drugs?
Anything?

Sadly with certain liver conditions such as liver cancer, there is only so much that can be done.
If the cancer is in an advanced stage and is terminal as in this case, there are very little options available. This is always a sad time for many people including the doctors, nurses and care staff as they feel so helpless.
The only real option available is continued palliative care. I see from your previous posts that you talked about a family member who was terminally ill. I take it, this is the same person. If so, then they've had two more years of life. So , they are fighting, and holding on.
If you require any further information about please try visiting some of these sites for more information.
If you need someone to talk to, then I'd recommend calling the lovely staff on the The British Liver Trust Helpline: 0800 652 7330
Hang on in there, your doing a fantastic job as a carer
