I have Gilbert's Syndrome
This is how my eyes look
I know they're yellow what about you ? Do you think that the color it's too obvious?
How to boost self-esteem ? I avoid eye contact because they'll ask me about my eyes and then I'll get embarassed

Hi Tkrs, it's actually against forum rules to post pictures for comment since they reproduce poorly on screen and we can't possibly comment. However, you have a diagnosis of Gilbert's Syndrome which results in higher than normal bilirubin levels (which is the cause of yellowing/jaundice) it might not be too unusual for your eyes to be a little off colour. Have you had recent blood tests to check your bilirubin?
If someone was to ask you about your eyes you could use it as a learning tool - tell them you have a genetic liver disorder - educate people that not all liver illnesses are alcohol related which sadly is an all too frequent perception of the general public perpetuated by the media etc.
My husband has cirrhosis of the liver despite being life long t-total and when called upon/asked about his condition he uses it to educate. His condition is auto immune and as a side effect he's lost his front teeth and has countless other issues.
Don't get embarassed.

Well if you have diagnosis of Gilbert's Syndrome that's explain your slightly yellow eyes. So I assume your other tests like ultrasound, LFT are ok. This benign genetic disease does not damage liver at all. But you still can some acquired liver problem like HCV, HBV, fatty liver and damage from alcohol, issue with gallbladder (with GS is more slightly likely ). But the same as people without GS so nothing to worry. Although your "natural" slightly higher bilirubin level can make some diagnosis more tricky.
About your yellow eyes as you know GS can increase your bilirubin level sometimes. Usually you probably will not have normal level (< 1.2 mg/dl). But you should check what factors can increase it in your own case. The most common are stress, not eating for long time, alcohol, disease like cold, not sleeping enough.
Good luck.
I have Gilberts, and I found out by going the colour of a simpsons character at age 12. Never really came back(until the reason I am on here), but if slightly yellow eyes are all you have, don't worry about it.
Wasn't fun explaining why I became Bart Simpson at school..
