Do my eyes look yellow ?

Please check the forum rules in the pinned posts as it is against forum rules to post photographs and ask for comment as no members are actually qualified to pass comment and also photographs don't represent true colours on screen.

The rule of thumb is if you need to ask if your eyes are yellow or need to pull down your eyelid to look then no they arn't yellow as jaundiced eyes are obvious.

If you have specific concerns that you might have jaundice/yellowing you should see your doctor, explain your concerns and get some blood tests done. Jaundice is related to higher than normal levels of bilirubin in your blood stream and a simple blood test plus a face to face appointment with a GP should rule this in or out.

Pls check with your gp. Before your eyes look yellow you will really feel ill. The doc just needs to do a very simple blood test but I’ve seen loads of cirrhosis patients, including myself, and you don’t appear to have the typical eyes at all.

No, they do not look yellow, they look normal.

As AyrshireK has rightly pointed out in her reply, if you have to ask or pull down your eyelids.....

As Isabelle2 has stated you would feel unwell if your eyes were showing signs of jaundice. I have cirrhosis and when my eyes were jaundiced it was very noticeable to me & to others - I certainly didn't have to pull my eyelids down!

I'm sure your GP can assure you further but I would suggest that you actually read up about cirrhosis if you haven't done so already as you wouldn't be asking questions like this.
