Hello British Liver Trust,I have mild liver echotexture, and am on Tenofovir ,can I take dandelion tea or is not good for me?

Hello 🙂

Personally I wouldn't and I lean towards the alternative when possible. BE VERY CAREFUL,speak to your GP, Consultant for reassurance but I'm 99% sure they will advise not to. AyrshireK will know why.

Water lots of water, I'd say have some coffee rather than Milk Thistle or Dandelion tea, Good healthy diet, exercise and positive strong attitude. ☺

The french call dandelions "pis-en-lit" because it is a strong diuretic. Although I have a strong tendency to get ascites I still wouldn't use this as a preventative treatment as it will have other side effects which your body may not be able to cope with. I recommend the earlier reply.
