Went on list at 6pm Wednesday. ...got my call at 4.20am Thursday morning. .transplant at 11pm that night! !!!can't believe it.

Trishi as you know 😁 - No lifting of anything even “moderately” heavy (no hoovering, no shopping bags - in fact don’t lift hardly anything - although a cup of tea is OK 😁!!) - even longer than the 6 months advised if you can! I know the penalty of ignoring that unfortunately!

😁. I didn’t think you were having a dig at me - I must be losing my touch. One day I may even post a piccie of incisional hernia - not quite as bad as Bob’s was but getting there 😁 - but I will probably be too embarrassed to do so 😛

Bless you, that is a miracle you are the second person I have heard of getting a transplant so soon after going on the list I was only on it two weeks before I got my first offer but was poorly two weeks later I got the call for another and it was done. The Lord knows who needs them the most. As everyone else has stressed take it easy and no lifting. Good luck to you and your family for the future xxx

Wow... massive congratulations to your good self. Rest and recovery time now. That's amazing to get a call let alone have the operation so soon. I've been listed since July 25th this year and currently waiting for call no 7 after 6 failed attempts.
