Wilson's disease

Hello all, long time lurker , first time poster here.

Last October (2018) I was hospilised out of the blue. I was diagnosed with decompensating NASH I have worked hard and managed to get back to a compensating liver.

I had a bombshell today at my neurologist consultant appointment . There was never a decisive cause given to the cause of the liver failure. After my last blood tests where I had high copper levels and low zinc levels he is referring me for further tests for Wilson's disease as other symptoms also fall in to the symptoms.

Has anybody got any experience of Wilson's (I have read the relevant pages ) that can give me an insight into things

Thank you x

Hi Bulldog, I am not sure if we have many members who have Wilson's Disease certainly no one posts regularly about it. Have you by any chance been in touch with the Wilson's Disease Support Group as they might have more relevant support for you as you go through tests etc. wilsonsdisease.org.uk/WDSG-...

Best wishes, Katie
