I am going to Florida next year on holiday, I have Cirrhosis and I am finding holiday insurance very expensive, £1,847 being the cheapest does anyone have information on where I can get it cheaper.

Hi Costel,

I have found the same problem. I’m off to California next year and tried every travel insurers under the sun. I was getting quotes in the region of 10k. Which is absolutely ridiculous.

In the end through another forum I found this company americanvisitorinsurance.com/

They provide health insurance for American visitors, including pre existing conditions.

Please note this isn’t travel insurance. Purely health insurance. But they are considerably cheaper and at least you know you’ll be covered health wise if something should happen whilst you are away.

Got it a lot cheaper than that for my wife but trips to the US are meant to be more expensive for insurance not sure how old you are but gota good deal from Saga for her
