SLOW BOAT TO KNOW WHERE

I'm going to have a small moan. I'm with the QE hosi in Brum and God only knows how good they are. They were amazing during my 1st liver transplant but I did go in under the super emergency list. This time though I feel like I'm being messed around.

My liver packed up last Dec and was placed bk on the list in Jan,then suspended due to sepsis then bk on again.

Recently everytime I see my consultant he reassures me they are working on finding me 1.I feel like I'm being dangled over a shark tank by a piece of cotton. This op if I get it will be a messy one due to veins & botched ops but I'd sooner die trying. At this rate I'll be getting one from the butchers.

I want you to meet Harry the reason I haven't keeled over yet. He was born on the 19th May. So I need my liver to spoil him rotten

Wow congratulations! My son was born just under 11 months from the transplant date. He's now 6 months old.

Don't worry, you're in safe hands. You will spend many many good years with him 👍

Im under QEHB, no transplant list as yet but i cannot fault them in any way. Your maybe feeling a little over anxious than you would due to the arrival of Harry. 👶..they know what they are doing my best wishes to you ..Linda.

Firstly congratulations. Secondly that’s the same line I’m fed when I go to see kings. 18 and 1/2 months on the list and I feel like I’ll be waiting long into next year at the moment. My little girl is 13 and lives in Belgium with my boyfriend. I should be with them both but I’m not well enough!
