Hi just been told I have portal hypertensive gastropathy, and that it could be cirrhosis, 5 years ago I had f2 fibrosis, but no cirrhosis diagnosis as yet waiting for ct scan results, but have anxiety about possible cirrhosis, has anyone had portal hypertensive gastropathy without it being as a result of cirrhosis?

Hi Jzwc. I have portal hypertension with Gastropathy, they found it in one of my endoscopies. I do have liver Cirrhosis but I know of people that have it because of Liver modular regeneration or something. Sorry can’t remember exactly what it’s called. However there are people that Suffer with what your going through not because of Liver Cirrhosis. Good luck to you x
