Well just when i thought it was going so well. Started to get pain in my abdomen and thought just got a bit of trapped wind. It got a bit worse so thought i would take my temperature. A bit up but ok. Any way started to get chills and temp up to 38 so took my self off to the Drs who sent me with a letter to A&E, temp now 38.4 !. I was seen and in a bed within one and half hour not bad for Friday 13th. !! LoL. Now attached to drips of antibiotics, fluids and steroids the latter is not going to my diabetes much good at all as got off all Insulin last August. Feeling a bit better this morning not that i got much sleep, forgot how noisy a busy ward is. Oh well hopefully i can get home soon and back to training for the games in August. Good luck to everyone post and pre transplant. Hope you are all ok. Stay strong, keep positive and smile. Xx 😁😁😁

Sorry to hear you’ve picked up an infection. Hope your on the right antibiotics and get well quickly. Xx
Well I'm still here but now found out it was an inflamed appendix so after a lot of discussions with St James. Taking me off my immune suppressants and giving me loads of steroid injections and antibiotics i think i am having it whipped out tomorrow., hopefully. Nil by mouth from tonight but they are still not positive yet. Only time will tell. The good thing i am feeling a lot better. Lol.🤣🤣😂

Dear dizzime,
Hoping things are going well and either they got the inflamation down or took that little sucker out.
Take care and best wishes for your health,
