Thought it was time for a cheery Xmas post/poem-its not easy being a mad meladromatic Celt

Sitting in the dirt

Dabbing away tears

Smearing off fear

Cleaning up the hurt

Give me a haven

A shabby dirty hole

Somewhere to quietly bleed

Requim for a damaged soul

A life experience ebbs and bleeds

Into a web that holds and keeps

Paragraphs of angst and strife

Expand into maelstroms of life

We were Desperadoes then,in sunny glades

Bravado sputters down,and fades

Strong as stone,We were brave as bone

It comes down to this,we curl up-alone.

Cityman - Your 'Cheery' Xmas post!!! your haven a shabby diirty hole where you can bleed a requiem for a damaged soul " You are VERY good at writing poetry - you should try and get into print; This has to be the best and it's very deep and meaningful.

I also love the words

Last paragraph extremely powerful too! i fancy myself as a poetry 'critique! lol

To sum up I wouldnt say " Cheerful!! but that is your dark sense of humour I fear!!
