if anyone takes anti-depressants or mood stabilisers have you had the choice of meds restricted?

I've a meds review due and as there is a question mark over possible liver issues i would like to know if it might affect how the g.p. prescribes.?

I take citalopram (SSRI anti depressant) and Refaximin (targeted antiobiotic ) for the gut to reduce amonia (and other waste products) that would otherwise fill brain with unhelpful chemicals, works for me. (half way up liver transplant list.

Certainly I had to stop a tricyclic(TCA) AD when my autoimmune liver disease flared a few years ago. I had a relapse (of depression) poss due to high dose steroids and started back on Sertraline. So far LFTs are doing okay despite sertraline. I've been told they'd not be happy prescribing me another TCA - that was GP and liver doc. I found it much more effective as an AD. The sertraline is okay though and I'm currently reducing.
