Is it good to drink coffee if you have fatty liver disease?
Dandelion Coffee is often recommended for people with liver complaints, I drink it most of the time but my condition is only Gilberts syndrome, so not too sure about really serious liver problems.
I personaly do not think much coffee is good at all Herbal teas are also pleasant and mint tea is good.
Depends what you call coffee-a couple of cups of normal american or expresso probably won't do you any harm but if you're fond of starbucks full milk whipped cream 3 spoons of sugar ...your liver won't thank you for it.
I haven't seen any definitive evidence that coffee in moderation harms the liver and some people say beneficial. If you have serious liver issues though you may not be able to cope with strong expresso because the liver can't cope with the caffeine.
1 cup of simple nescafe no sugar, cream or milk? I heard it is a good anti oxidant? I was diagnosed with fatty liver and wondered if it would help my condition?
