With the foul winter weather behind us (hopefully), I'm determined to get back to running three times a week and building back to 10K. I had reached that goal last summer but a stress fracture in September kept me from progressing.
I'm working on the Runner's World 4-week training programme. Yesterday, I did the Week 1 Run 2 which was 2 miles easy/4 intervals of 1 min fast/2 min recovery/2 miles easy. I'm on holiday in Cornwall and the weather was not great - rain to varying degrees - but I did it and it felt pretty good.
I walked the recoveries and my last 2 miles were very easy, but I am very pleased with the 8 K...
