Parkrun Reports

As our friend Damienair as at 16.00 BST hasn't posted his usual "How did your parkrun or (not) parkrun go' it might be a nice idea to report how your parkrun went today.I was very happy with mine this morning, I got a +60%age grading of 63.16% with a time of 31.48 when I attended my 137th parkrun at Springburn parkrun in Glasgow.

If Damienair does post his parkrun, reply on his, not this one.

That's strange as I didn't receive Damienair's post, that's probably because of maintenance work earlier in the week.

Well done! I'm only 50.30% today.

To put your achievement in its deserved perspective, the grading of the two twenty somethings who came joint first at Chadderton this morning was only 62.52%.

Ha ha nowster, that's why I like age grading, I am 78,79 next month, that makes me in the 75/79 age grade at parkrun, my fastest park time is 30,09 which was in the Autumn of 2021,age grading then 62,85%, however, I've not had a sub 31 minutes run since August 2022 but despite that most of my runs have been+60,% age grading, if I had started running at 31 and got an age grading of what I got today, my time would be around 22 minutes, way back decades ago when I was at Primary school I used to run a lot but at age 11 I went off running and took up cycling instead.
