Another beautiful morning, enough to tempt me to a pre breakfast run instead of the mid morning ones I've been doing lately.
Wore a short sleeved t shirt for the first time this year, summer is on its way. Have to say though I love the current temperature for a run, I think 11-15C is my optimal range. Much better than when it's in the 20s or above.
The paths have dried up, hardly any mud. The sun was shining. Mr Y is over the horrible cold that's knocked him out for 2 weeks. He kept to my pace instead of running ahead like he usually does. I think I act as the opposite of a pacemaker π
Maybe it was because he was with me but I ran a bit quicker than usual, or maybe it was just joie de vivre. I ran 3k then did a little bit more to bring the run to 30 minutes. It was great.
Pressed the stop button on the NRC app, nothing seemed to happen so I took a screen shot in case it was glitching again. Just as well, although it told me all my stats at the end and Coach B congratulated me on my run and told me I was a better athlete than when I started (funny he never says the opposite at the start of a run?) it isn't showing on the app.
Ah, technology is a wonderful thing, innit? π
