When your plan gets you out the door….

Well, my plan had been to finish C25k and then the three C25k+ runs of Stepping Stones, Speed and Stamina! And all in this month and I was almost there!

But of course I woke up to a drizzly, rainy Monday morning.

But as it was the last day of the month, I just had to get that last Stamina run in…. And I did!

Longest run since a long time, I reached my fairy house (at the half way point of my 5k route) and made it back very happy, if not dry.

It was certainly glove weather, long t-shirt and fleece weather, rain cap and beany weather, but definitely also running weather!

Embrace the wet!

Happy wet running, everyone!

I did... and the other 7 that the app deigned to grant me were definitely done in rain!

It's been bucketing down here all day. I'll do drizzle and light rain, and actually enjoy it once I'm into the run.

However, I won't do rain which would soak me through before I could have a chance to get properly warmed up.

The forecast for tomorrow and the rest of the week is dry, so I'll have to motivate myself to get out tomorrow morning.

UPDATE: We even have flood warnings in parts of the town, with 55mm of rain in the last 24 hours.

A swim then?

Oh dear! Yeah we had a yellow warning as well, but it stayed at drizzly and droopy, and didn’t get to pouring, flooding or downpour.

Hope your region stays safe!
