NRC HM plan week 3. I had planned to complete this week’s long run next Saturday but the forecast here is for 18 degrees at 8 am! 😳 There is no way I could cope with that, so I brought my long run forward to today and enjoyed a lovely cool run. Coach Bennett kept my mind occupied as I did part Road, part trail, and tried to ignore the runners gliding past me seemingly effortlessly! All done by 8.30 am and then a nice walk back home through the forest. Need to work out where to do the Hills speed run next.

Wonderful, and that's week 3 finished? You are steaming through the runs
if only! It was my first run of week 3- I switch them round to suit my mood or the weather. I’ve saved the shorter runs for later in the week when it’s going to be hotter. Hopefully I’ll still manage to complete the speed runs before it heats up too much- I’m out at ~ 7 am so it should be doable!
Ah, I've still got some of week 2 to do, I'm kind of meandering through it
