I’ve had an odd sort of week where I’ve not actually been ill but not 100% right either. I’ve had 4 days this week where I’ve found myself waking up from a Nana nap that I’d had no intention of having….I’ve woken extra early several days then slept in yesterday when I needed to get up…. My stomach has felt a bit odd and I’ve had no real appetite but nothing I could really put my finger on. .
This morning I woke at 6.30, decided it was a bit chilly to get up and went back to sleep till 7.30, then got up and went downstairs for a drink. Planned on a run this morning but everything ached and I just didn’t have any oomph. Chatted to my daughter , who’d stayed over and was trying to work up to going home ( she works from home Friday mornings) and finally left so she could log on for 8.00. Then I’d more or less talked myself out of running and had breakfast ( I don’t usually eat before I ran apart from maybe a banana and a protein shake) and was on the verge of not bothering. Then I sat and wasted time in a “ scroll hole” on my phone…. Until I gave myself a stern talking to at 9.30 and got my gear on and ran!!!
And I managed B210k week 3 run 2!!! Well pleased with myself after that. And I wasn’t even that slow today. Not quite as good as run1 but after such a rubbbish start to the day I’ll take that. 😁
