10k run tonight but it was a tough run,went from glorious sunshine 🌞 to it absolutely bouncing down

I wanted to do 10k again but it felt a lot tougher than before, hoping in the next few runs my legs and stamina return to normal before I had this virus

If it felt like a struggle, then maybe, because that virus has taken its toll, ease back a tad. Important now... as take it gently and do try to ,make sure that you are getting your regular core strength and stamina exercise on some of those rest days.

Our running body needs gently of tlc and support to keep up with the legs :)

I've had many runs that didn't feel great but look back and realise I can enjoy them more if I make small changes 😁

It's amazes me how much illness can set you back, I was doing really well broke 30 minutes twice for 5k now it's about building fitness back up again

It amazes me too, I have hardly run for a month due to a bug that won't quite go, and when I have run it's felt awful

I think it's just like starting over again but eventually the fitness that you've built up will come back
