A beautiful morning and after an early breakfast & bit of a wait I set off on a trail run to revisit Wednesday practice run 🤣
March! It was showing with spring bulbs, mating snails, lots of blossoms & plenty of dog walkers…
A comfortable 3.5K without any of the discomfort of Wednesday. How good that feels!! Sometimes we have to change the routine or the way we do things…be adaptable…or tweak things a little…. I have had to give up my getup, get into my gear, out the door into the fresh early morning,, routine! Due to the nature of my medication I need breakfast first! However we runners are adaptable … we do whatever it takes to keep running, keep smiling 😊 Enjoy your weekend runs everyone & thanks to all who supported me on Wednesday. Much appreciated!! Xx

Nice upbeat post AA. Nothing to do with medication, but I never run without my bowl of porridge. Ok it means a wait before I get out of the door, but that has always been the deal for me. Benefit of being retired and cracking oun a bit I guess. 🙂
This is a great update! It’s wonderful when after a dodgy run, the next one goes really well. I think a lot of us are happy to see the back of February and welcome in March!
I never thought I’d be a person that absolutely had to eat before running but it turns out that I am. I’ve found a good few options I know work well with a run not too long afterwards. Good luck with finding what works with your new routine ❤️
😊🤗 Smiling at all your titles! My yogurt & avo toast worked well this morning… may try porridge some time too.. It’s just a new way of thinking 🤔 Breakfast used to be my happy reward.. but will save my coffee. ☕️
Hi Annie great post and picture once again.I’m pleased you had a better run today pet. My go to breakfast is one slice wholemeal bread and one scrambled egg, coffee then I crack on with a few jobs hoovering etc and then after maybe an hour out I go! 😂😂xx
