2024: W36R2 - Field run..

Well.. if I thought it was hard last time, I didn't know what was coming today. My reluctance to run the same route again was "deservedly punished". I wandered, stopping often. I've experienced just about everything: Rain, wind, steep climbs, ankle-deep mud, slippery mud, rocks, lost trail, tree logs blocking the trail, streams that cross and flood the trail, swamp. What is missing? Probably just desert sand, ice and snow...

But it was great! I could have climbed even higher - again to the observation tower, but after the steep section I preferred to obediently go around it :-).

And maybe it needs a better map.. the current one sometimes shows trails that aren't there.

That's actually cool because at least it's adventurous

Love this! It sounds like a “four seasons in one day” run that’s just bonkers when you’re out and the best feeling when you’re done. I bet this one will stay with you!
