And a Parkrun to finish off the Aussie holiday.

About 4 weeks ago I posted my Parkrun experience in New South Wales not long after arriving. Now, it was time to bookend a great stay with a Parkrun in Fremantle, Western Australia.

Quite a small field with few walkers and no dog runners (for all the way) as the last kilometre was on the beach. That was hard.

A really friendly, encouraging bunch. Beautiful sunshine and temperature about 24C at 8 am.

I’m now recovering with a cup of tea and an iconic TimTam chocolate biscuit. As behoves a genderless, ageless runner who felt no need to aim for sub 17 minutes 🤣🤣🤣

Well done HeavyFoot , a great way to finish off your trip. I was there as they were building up to holding The Americas Cup (1985? 😬) just beautiful.
