Greetings from Norway, everyone.
It's been snowing sideways for hours. The snow must be falling downwards, somewhere away from here, but it's flying horizontally outside my windows.
Looking down from the bedroom window a few hours ago, I noticed a red bus, stranded, lights blinking. Now, looking out the window from the other side of the house, there are two more stuck buses. One blocks the road completely, the other does not have snow tires either, and cannot back away from it, Cars can pass, there is just enough room. The first bus is still right there. There must be a staggering number of buses stranded all over town.
This was a bit early coming. You can't really plan for this sort of thing.
Anyway, I count my blessings. The small, local gym is just down the road, with eight or ten treadmills, and I had the foresight to renew my membership the other week.
I'm definitely not driving today. I hope it will all be gone on November 1, because that is when I'll get my tyres changed. Or I'll have to do it myself. Hope not. I've become old and soft - maybe.
