I started with I can see clearly now..... Followed by Oh what a beautiful morning. ......then, It's a wonderful World.. ....next came Happy.. .....and lastly, IM BACK!!! Birdlady64 I hope your first run goes as well.
So, 2 weeks ago I was just booking in to have a cataract removed, today I donned my running shoes and took a gentle half hour running round the streets.
I went out with no expectations but hope that I could run for half an hour and I did.
I wore my sunglasses instead of glasses and came home dripping with sweat and the biggest grin on my face.
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, be happy

Excellent SueAppleRun . How wonderful to ba able to run and to be able to see where you are running! A nice gentle introduction is just the way to go. And wasn’t that sunshine lovely this morning, until the heavens broke.
we just managed to get our food and coffee when this happened. So much heavy rain in 25 minutes. If you zoom in you can see people sheltering under the trees on the other side of the lake.
Don't need to zoom in, I can see them. Looks horrible, glad I ran earlier as it's headed our way, there's talk of cancelling both Lancing and Worthing parkrun this Saturday, high tides strong winds, pebbles on prom would make it unsafe, might have to just go round the he streets again, or find another
Brilliant SueAppleRun . It's always a bit of a worry when you haven't run for a while, let alone after having eye surgery. My run was good. I was in the middle of persuading myself to wait until the weekend when I saw you had posted a run and gave myself a good talking too! 😀
I had such a fear of dislodging the lense Linda, so I ran super slow and enjoyed it so much, now my plan can increase to get stronger for a 5 mile race I've booked for January 😁
It really did thanks, I so enjoyed being out, and as long as it's not cancelled, parkrun in the morning 😁 I shall walk most of it but it'll be good to go
