I haven’t managed to post much lately but I’m still enjoying reading the posts from others …. So thought I’d give a quick update.
After a fair bit of time being away I phased back into 35-40 min runs and a couple of park runs, including at the weekend. I do find it challenging in this much warmer weather but was pleased with my time and running the whole 5k too.
I am managing about 1-2 runs in between the park runs, some shorter at a faster pace too. Mostly I try out things I’ve read about on this forum, to give me ideas 😁.
The photo is from a much travelled running route of mine and makes me smile.

🍏It’s a beautiful pastoral scene! How fortunate you are!! It’s so gratifying to hear that you are doing lovely runs and trying out new ideas. Thanks for popping in & sharing with us!
Great photo! Do you run through fields with cows? I’m always a bit nervy around them. I like them on the other side of the fence though!
Lovely to ready your update and it sounds like you’ve settled into a pattern that’s working well for you. Brilliant! Pop in again when you’ve got time-it’s always lovely to hear from you ❤️
Thanks for your lovely reply. I don’t go through the fields with the cows. I prefer a tarmac path to a grassy field as the running is so much easier! I do like to enjoy the views as I’m running past it all though.
I’ll post again soon, thanks for the encouragement
Wonderful pastoral scenes of cows in the grass just chilling out. Til the next unwary runner happens by 😁. Whereupon they rise from their slumbers and get up to accompany you at pace towards the exit 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️😱. See Wobble run 😁
How lovely to hear from you Oldlady 👋 and what a lovely peaceful photo 😍
It sounds like your running is ticking away nicely. and you seem to have slotted into a good routine. It’s fun doing the shorter faster ones isn’t it? Keep on with what you’re doing, and enjoy.
