I listened to this yesterday after my long run. Sliced Bread (in case you’re not familiar with it) takes products with a lot of hype around them and investigates to see if they’re the best thing since sliced bread or marketing BS. This episode is all about barefoot shoes.
I love a podcast run. I’ve found they don’t work so well with guided runs because you end up with two people talking at once! I’ve fallen into a pattern of a speed and long run from NRC with music and one run with podcast where I can just do that as a chilled, time on feet run. Not having a coach at all really helps get me in the right mindset that it’s a just for fun run so pace is irrelevant. It’s working well for me at the moment!
