25 minutes easy and Garmin woes

I decided to use the other Garmin, it's a forerunner 645, so last night after a lot of messing about it was all set up ready. This morning is beautiful, my neighbour decided to walk not run so we walked together for 5 minutes, I set up NRC 25 minute easy run and Garmin for a run, no distance was showing on my watch so I scrolled down and found heartrate, I kept this below 150 which is good for me, kept going, round the old golf course, dogs, people, birds, sunshine and really green trees, wonderful, paths wind in and out round and about, I really enjoyed this run which Garmin didn't record at all 🀣🀣🀣 not that it really matters because NRC gave me 2.36 kilometres at a nice slow pace.

That's 3 ticked off, another pound in my shoe pot and some lovely endorphins to make me smile.

Run happy all, I took some photos while I waited for my neighbour to get back to start. I've chosen the one by the raised gardens where I started and finished my run πŸ˜„

people ask why I run with a garmin and a Fitbit! This scenario is the answer twice last week I didn’t set my garmin off! But set Fitbit off! πŸ˜‚ so you are not alone

Ha ha πŸ˜‚ I vaguely remember my daughter muttering about hers when she first got it then explaining she'd forgotten to push the button the second time. My other one is a touch screen so I'm used to tapping and go, but I like this one for now and will get used to it

Thanks, I've shopped and spent a fortune on paint whoops, but I'd planned to decorate

It was a great but if time out, I love it there and last year they built all the paths almost just for us to run along, they wind all around and through the old golf course and it's fairly easy to get a 5k there

Fence painting sounds fun, I don't know what colour I want so kitchen first and it's going to be white for now. I'm glossing all the woodwork too so it'll be gleaming,

We used to have a wallpaper and paint shop so plenty of paint left. Mr D going to mix 2 together to see if we can get colour near to the existing colour on fence. It’s the smelly paint oil, not the water based , so brushes will be chucked out.

Sounds great fun 😁 I'm wondering what to do because I don't think the colours I want exist

A different watch is always a challenge but I like this one so thought I'd use it for a while, I'm feeling ok actually a lot of the time and now I've correctly recorded a couple of walks I know what I'm doing πŸ˜„

I'm making notes on every watch mentioned because I think I need a new one with better battery life for my marathon.... πŸ˜€
