Went for my third comeback run this morning, another 20 minutes. It felt rather heavy, but 1) I waited only 1 hour after breakfast instead of usually 2 hours and 2) I might have ran a tad faster if I am to believe my watchand 3) I Jeffed at 2min00 /0min30, so a bit longer running interval.
Weird thing, I took the exact same route as previous 2 times and reached 2K sooner on the route. I do have to admit my watch did not lock onto gps and I started my watch without a gps lock. So maybe it is a flunk?
I just have banana, cereal bar and orange juice before Parkrun. It is more than enough and have breakfast after. I've even done longer runs after Parkrun (carrying on to complete various distances up to 10 miles - well 10 miles only twice) with just an extra banana and some jelly babies ( and of course some water.) If I had breakfast first I'd be faffing til noon!Still recovering from my cold so still not been out for over 5 weeks hot weather and hotter holiday and injury didn't help - so not related to lack of muesli or bacon and eggs before running!
Well done you... it could have been anything, or...you could have moved faster. it often happens quite without us realising it, especially over the same route..Mind it, can work the other way too
