What is Happening in my Bed at Night!!!

I ran yesterday quite comfortably and went to bed around 10pm with no pains or post run issues. I arose for my early hours bathroom visit, not an age thing just like to check the bathroom's still there honest. I put my right foot down and there was pain in my front right foot covering my 3 smaller toes. It's still there but where has it come from? I suspect Mrs OMR, she would enjoy watching me trying to puzzle out how I could possibly get an injury whilst sleeping πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

O my. How strange and frustrating for you. Maybe delayed reaction to your run but whatever it is you need to take it easy and rest up till it goes back to where it came from. Take care.

The title of the post worried me for a moment... How odd! Trapped nerve... any pain at the outer side of the leg trapped nerve in sciatic nerve.. this can affect leg and toes? ... Lying oddly, cramp, lego block?

Has the pain gone...??

Thanks, it's subsiding now Oldfloss. If you've ever had a high heel stand on your foot it feels like that 😁

Ouch, are you sure there's no Lego laying around? Or even cat biscuits can hurt when you step on them in bare feet

I sometimes get toe cramp in the middle of the night, especially if my feet get cold. I then have to do a rain dance round the bedroom to ease it.

That might be a variation of man flu 😜. I'd stay in bed, get a bell, and have everything carried to you for at least the next two days πŸ˜‰.Seriously though, hope it eases, and just a minor niggle that has gone by now.

Thank you. I tried all of those but with no success ended up painting my daughters front room instead 😁

My hubby seems to have lots of dreams when he’s either running or playing football, and I think I’m the one most likely to get injured. He once had a dream of being a goalie and he ended up on the floor, soaked by his water glass! Who knows what goes on during your dreams!
