A Round of Santa-Plause 🎅

I finally got around to logging my mileage for the 12 runs of Christmas and managed 30 miles in all. There was some running and some slow short walks with my dodgy kneed husband. We also go a bauble for the tree (1 polar bear and 1 elf 😊)

My run this morning was a gentle one after a busy run up to Christmas, way too much food and a lot of lolling around for the last couple of days (bliss!) I started slowly and thought it might be tough, but I needn’t have worried as I felt quite good and extended a 3 1/2 to a 4 1/2 and ………. Negative splits! Ta da…….! 🥳 I think for the first time ever! 😁

Part of me wants to get back into my routine , but part of me doesn’t as it brings with it other demands that I’m not in a rush to get going with again 😂, but looking forward to getting out again over the next few days. My regular 5k route next me thinks 😊

Hope you have had a good weekend/Christmas/ break and happy running lovely VRBs

Well done both of you.👍👍 I got an Elf in the post a couple of days before Xmas .I ended up having to do more walks than I'd planned due to cracked heels.

Best wishes and great runs for the New Year.
