Tim's run - A walk for Tim in Herts

Still unable to run and getting over a cold, today was my first opportunity to celebrate our virtual friend and running guru. Once I'd got my chores done that had been waiting until I was well enough to get out of the house, it was already starting to get dark. But I didn't want to leave it another day. So, walking shoes and warm coat on, I walked to the end of my road and turned onto the track that was the start of my c25k four years ago. Thinking about Tim and how selflessly he continued to encourage and advise even when he could no longer run himself.

I also thought about all the people he inspired, who have been celebrating his time among us in this oh so appropriate way. I thought of linda9389 and couchpotato2 who are in my neck of the woods and posted their runs today. I wondered if they were the closest to me, and then I wondered who would be furthest away. I felt close to every one of them (every one of you).

Keep running keep smiling 💕

A thoughtful and meaningful walk for Tim GoG.💜

I hope you had a torch, walking out in the dark....

Torch not required, the last light just lingered in the sky. Street lights were on, on my way back to my house though, but it was lovely.

It's being so lovely reading all these posts to remember Tim and the support he gave us all

Yes isn't it, I suspected that he had touched many lives but it's quite something to see just how many.

We were in and around Berkhamsted (me being the visitor). I too thought of people all over running that day, all in memory of a great person. 💙

I hope so, I'm concentrating on walking at the moment. Got a lot of fitness to make up. Yes Tim was special, and I never even met him!
