I wanted this run to be a lone run and to feel like the beginning of my running journey when I started ct5k back in April. The weather was mild and damp, I didn’t stop for breakfast I just wanted to get out there, I popped a chill out soundtrack on, replayed the ct5k app on week 9 with good old Sanjay and started off. I was reflecting on how far I’ve come and how the second time of doing ct5k was made easier as I joined the HU forum with the most amazing and supportive people. The start of my run was uncomfortable as I had a knot in my left calf (after a good warm up too) so I gently ran until all of a sudden it disappeared and I was able to enjoy my run (Tim’s run). I chose an old fave ct5k route in Prescot(not far from Liverpool) and thought of the first time I posted on the forum (Tim was the first person to reply), his advice, support and encouragement will stay with me forever and for that I will be grateful. He will be remembered by so many people he’s reached out to imparting his running wisdom. Thanks Tim 🙏🏻
