I’ve been following (a slightly adapted version of) JuJu’s Magic Time based plan. I had a couple of weeks off for my holidays and today only had the final run to do. I’ve been finding it hard to work out how far I can go in a certain time, so I planned today’s route based on distance and hoped it would be 60 minutes or thereabouts.
It is a lovely morning here in Brighton. There is sunshine. It’s a nice temperature for running - 13 degrees when I set off, 16 when I got home. There were a few puddles and stretches of mud along the way but nothing too alarming.
I added a new park into my run repertoire today. And I got there as Park Run was going on, so had lots of company for a little while before I deviated from the Park Run route, mainly to avoid the crowds.
So that’s my 60 minute target hit. Now I’m going to switch over to the distance based plan and see if I can extend my distance to get to that 10K mark.

5 miles is such a nice distance for a run and as for running for an hour--Did you think back when you started running that you would ever run for a hour ? I know I didn't! Good luck with the next milestone!10k really isn't far away now😊
Running for an hour is a wonderful milestone, you'll soon reach 10k. And 8k is a great distance
I remember that problem of not really knowing how long it takes to run a distance or vice versa, I frequently had to tag bits on at the end or with a longer than expected walk home 😂 It will get easier the more you do.
