Couple of walks and a swim

I’d planned a run today but we’d also planned a day at our favourite beach and then there was washing, going to let the dog out and post the old Garmin off…..

So the run fell by the wayside although a couple kilometres walking to the beach and some swimming made up for it.

It’s been a bit cloudy but warmer than last week, the tide was coming in and the sea cold I do like a swim though so had a lovely day. No seal to be seen today, maybe next time.

Shop on way home and one of the best days off 😀

Be happy whatever you do…. and there’s still time for a quick run if I want one but tomorrow is another day .

Sounds like you packed a lot into your day and who knows? A run may have been a step too far. Just back from my holiday and catching up on washing, mail, shopping etc so when hubby said 'are you running today?' I said no. I'm going to give myself a couple of days to ease myself back in. 🙂

Yes easing back in is the best way to do it. I’ve been out for a dog walk this evening so am happy, I’ve got a speed run after work tomorrow and then hopefully an 8k gentle slow run on Saturday and going to run along the seafront while Willow has a short run and sits on the beach

Lovely photo, I want a walk and a paddle on your beach.

It is very special there, the beach we live very near to is very stoney without the dunes but that one is our favorite and not well known so usually not many people

Wow, cool beach, where is that?

On my side, still too hot here for serious running. I had an appointment with my cardiologist yesterday, he advised me to take it easy in the hot weather. So, I'm just trying to stay in trim by cycling to and from work.

Keep going and hopefully be able to run when it cools down, it’s on the south coast
