And it had to be the river, it’s mighty hot and been a busy day. It was either a 15 minute recovery run or the 30 minute speed run, I just wanted to run today and knew 15 mins wouldn’t do it.
It’s been busy and I really need a gentle potter but I’m following a plan and want to get week 2 ticked off!
We decided the river would be the best place to be,
It’s lovely, I really enjoyed the run, the last 90 secs of mike pace though was a stretch but i did it
The tide was coming in so deeper at the end, birds swoop across the water, I envy them getting to the water, I remember my dogs going up to their arm pits in the mud before getting a swim
One more short run and I can start week 3
Have fun all

Just over 3k but took 4 minutes longer than yours, I always run better in the morning, I’m going to have to run the 15 minute one tomorrow after work so i can run the next long run on day off thursday 😀then I’ll do the easy runs over the weekend, it’s hard fitting them in
It must be difficult to plan the long runs around work, I find them hard enough to plan and I don’t work! I’m hoping to run again on Thursday and then do my long run either Saturday or Sunday. I like options! But I’m not doing a plan - this is the Julia Plan 😄
HUGE well done to you That looks and sounds beautiful!I have just ticked off Run2 Week 2... so you are well ahead of me and leading the way with real style.
What a beautiful location too... oh, I wish I was running there with you!
It is so good to know you are out there again, feeling strong and enjoying the runs so much!
Thank you 😊 you were out there with me, I’m not far ahead really, one more run on week 2 and I saved the little one up so might get that done today depending what time I get home, I’m off to Brighton with my boss, The first week took 9 days and this second week is taking 11 but I’m not in a hurry
