Only had time for 6k this morning, but certainly glad I got out of bed and didn’t go back to sleep which was my initial thought this morning !
I was up at 4:15 this morning to go to a dawn chorus event being staged by the parish council at 5. Normally, the only time that I’m up that early is when I’m off on a skiing holiday. It was a novel start to the day and I’ve attached a photo from it.
Arrived home about 6:15 and had part 2 of my breakfast. With almost two hours until I needed to set off for ParkRun, I spent the time browsing through various things on my phone. With hindsight, I should have gone back to bed for an hour or so.
Wow that really was an early start. Mind you, I bet it was really nice out there at that time, looks great in the photo. Well done on the very early start and on doing park run afterwards !

Something else that I appreciated was the (almost) complete lack of traffic.
The horses seemed very interested in my right arm. No idea why. I turned away when one of them looked like it was about to try nibbling at one of my sandals.
