Long time coming. But I’m here … virtually … in John O’Groats, having run the length of the UK!
Together with some fellow running buddies, I started RunLEJOG4, my first virtual challenge, after my consolidation period after graduating C25k.
I started out knowing I was not going to make it in time of the year cutoff, and my target was running half the country to where I live, almost in spit distance of the route!
I made it home in my targeted time and had fun meeting my virtual self!
I ran on and the nice team at End2End agreed to make an exception and put me into a later cohort.
Today, with my little run this morning, which is part of my return to C25k Zombie version after a stint on the IC, I made it. It took me 1 1/2 year but slowly and steadily.
I can’t wait for the medal to arrive. It was the first medal I signed up for, and when it arrived, it will join a handful of medals that map my running journey.
Happy running in the diverse running worlds you may have around you! It’s a great one if it has runners in it!

Ooohhh, I’ve got something in store but still have to have a think of how to fit it all in, when to start and what will go into my first post writing about it! 🫢🤔💭✍🏽
