Walking and gremlins

Well the gremlins well and truly got me this morning, I was up, Tea had been drunk, just about to pull leggings on and my phone rang, it hardly ever does that so I excitedly answered it and it was the surgeon, after chatting for a while I said thank you and goodbye and updated my boss by text. Picked leggings up again and my phone rang again, this is an exciting morning, it was my boss this time, had a chat. said goodbye, fired up work laptop and sent her an update via email. Made tea and got back in bed 🤣🤣🤣

Willow is still suffering with a cold and dozed on and off all morning.

So this evening, updated daughter via text and arranged to go with her to walk the dog.

We walked and we chatted and it was lovely. After 10 minutes Garmin starts an auto activity, so I left it running and thought I’d drop in here to say hi, hope everyone’s ok, whether running, walking or resting.

Better luck tomorrow. Hoping to get out for a run 😀

I think you kicked those gremlins into touch Sola - you might not have got out as per your plan but you had important calls which took precedence and you got out with your daughter! Hope Willow feels better soon - and enjoy your run tomorrow!

A walk is great! Especially after a morning like that!

I recognised that at my age I do need my routines to keep me happy. A bit out of my routine and my fitness regime falters!

So we’ll done for having managed to do the run walking! 😉😃👍🏽

That’s it! I need to go shopping, I don’t have this auto start feature on my watch… neither does my daughter but what she doesn’t know won’t hurt my bank balance!

Ha!! I don’t know how I set it up but if I do something for 10 minutes the watch buzzes and starts the activity, I suppose in a run I could start walking and when it auto buzzed to start I could run, save me having to decide whether to do a NRC run or run from zombies

I have just been reading… on the Venu it can be set for walking and running and the default for walking is 10 minutes… think it’s 5 for running… these can be shortened. Now I need to find out which is the most expensive watch with this feature as I turn forty ten next month.

ooo that’s exciting yes you must lol 😂 My vivoactive is over 2 years old now and i keep looking at new ones but there is nothing at all wrong with mine, I’m in wanting mode, a new Garmin a new laptop or a new Sax 🎷 and really don’t need any of them but I really think the Sax 🎷 will win
