Short sleeves!

What a beautiful sunny morning! Got dressed in my usual gear but as I stepped into the garden I realised I needed short sleeves today. First time this year!! I soon realised I could have got away with shorts as well but as that would have necessitated much needed leg shaving I had to put up with the heat.

We set off to do 5k but by the time we were half way through decided to go the long way. I covered 7km in 56:24 which is a bit faster than I normally run (average pace 8:02). I think that running to music is giving me the boost I need to run faster. By the time I finished I was wishing I'd taken the detour and gone even further. I will do a 10k before the end of the month!!

I ran in vest top and shorts the other day, it was stupidly hot. Leggings and long sleeves a couple of days ago, back to shorts and t-shirt today. It's anybody's guess what I'll wear next time.

Goodness...well done you! And short sleeves...and a thought of shorts!!! I was in three layers yesterday...A great run and wonderful that you could have gone further. That 10K is in sight!
