A morning 5K with a severe case of Bed Barnet 🤣

I definitely feel like the weather plays a big part in my motivation to run !

I last ran on Saturday and it was a lovely morning .

Similar was forcast for today which also happens to coincide with a late start for work !

All these things help .

I decide I'll go out around 08:30 just as the school starts.

It was a nice bright, dry and cool warm-up walk .

Then watch started and a Pink Floyd playlist.

It felt good to be running after just a 1 day rest and I definitely felt a little looser .

Not interested in pace, just started to run and keep it comfortable .

A few people out and about and despite my best efforts to make a noisy approach quite a few were just determined to block the pavement with either kids or dogs .

It only took around 10 minutes and I was feeling up to temperature.

I had on running tights and just a zip Thermo running top .

After 15 minutes or so the zip was already getting moved down further as I warned up .

It was nice to feel the cooling breeze

The run certainly felt easier than the one on Saturday but came out around a similar time .

Back home , stretches done , porridge eaten , now for a nice relaxing bath and sort out the bed hair before a late work start .

Happy running! 😁

It was a lovely morning to be outside today.

Great to be doing a "comfortable" run only to find that it's similar to your previous one.

I agree the weather definitely impacts my mood and motivation. The bright sunny mornings help put a little spring in my legs. X
